Each holiday season, the mall joins with the Cambridge Salvation Army to orchestrate and implement the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. The program offers customers the opportunity to pick an angel from the mall Christmas tree and purchase specific gifts for local area children who would not otherwise receive holiday gifts and toys. In November, CambridgeSide Galleria partners with the Cambridge Salvation Army to collect much needed food items for Thanksgiving baskets. Items collected include canned vegetables, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, baby food, baking mixes, crackers and more. Salvation Army provides more than 300 turkeys to families in need.

Throughout the year when you purchase a gift card box at the customer service desk on level 2. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Salvation Army.

Each year CambridgeSide Galleria collects approximately 150 toys.

In 2004 and 2006, CambridgeSide Galleria purchased a toy, winter coat, hat, gloves, pants, shirt and sweatshirt for every child in the homeless daycare.
